Say hello to your team of local family audiologists, each a master of their craft.
Oliver joined the family business straight from school in 1995 and remains one of the youngest people to ever qualify as a hearing aid dispenser in 1997. Over the years, Oliver has learned a lot, not just about hearing loss and hearing technology but about the impact hearing loss can have on people, relationships, and quality of life. Oliver is one of the UK’s few Phonak Lyric fitters and is regularly approached by hearing aid manufacturers to take part in focus groups to help mould the future of hearing care. Oliver is a Director in our sister company County Hearing Care, in Brentwood. Away from DigiClear, Oliver and his wife Fleur have 5 children who keep them busy and happy!
Bev joined Oliver at DigiClear Chingford in 2015 as Practice Manager but first visited DigiClear as a client in 2005. As a hearing aid wearer, Bev brings a wealth of experience to the team. When asked what she likes most about her work with us, she says “Space and time to develop relationships with clients, at the level they want”.
Allan started his hearing aid service from the family home in Hornchurch in 1988. He has seen the business grow over the years to the size it is now, with the focus always being to treat our clients as though they were a family member.
Lynne was the first person to join our team in Bishops Stortford when we opened in 2016. Lynne balances the role of practice manager and hearing care assistant to provide both admin support and aftercare services for our clients. Lynne says “I love being a part of a team of hearing care professionals and witnessing the difference hearing aids make to our clients' lives and the lives of people around them”.
Toby first joined DigiClear in 2008 as he was finishing his degree course in Cambridge. On qualifying, Toby went to work with a national chain before joining the team again in 2016. He supports Oliver at the Chingford practice, offering all audiology services including Lyric fitting and Microsuction. He also runs our day centre in Great Dunmow. Toby is Managing Director at our sister company County Hearing Care, in Brentwood. Toby says “I get the greatest pleasure from seeing the difference our care can have on a person's relationships and the confidence this gives back to them”.
Sarah joined DigiClear Bishop's Stortford in 2018 and has quickly become one of the family. Sarah says “I have loved the challenge of joining a new business and learning a new industry after my work in the legal profession. I really enjoy having the time to get to know our clients and see the difference our services make to them and their families. There’s nothing like it”.
Mike joined us in 2019 and has the task of learning the business in Hornchurch as Allan eases into retirement over the next few years. Mike joins us after working with a number of national chains in his years within the industry and as such brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. He says “In my years working as an audiologist, I’ve never worked with such a dedicated and friendly team of professionals. Coming to work each day has been a pleasure. I’m given all the time and resources I’d ever need to help people restore their sense of hearing and that to me speaks “volumes” about this fantastic company”.
Danielle joined DigiClear in 2019 and has been an amazing asset to the team! Danielle’s main role is as an audiologist at our Bishop’s Stortford clinic. She’s loved learning and building upon her education as well as getting to know the staff and our wonderful clients.
When asked what she most enjoys about working in the team Danielle said: “I love that this job allows me to restore people’s hearing and help then rediscover a vital part of their lives. This simple pleasure is why I decided to become an audiologist!”
